The Challenge
Hütte is a DevOps platform for Salesforce focused on release management and collaboration for development teams. While parts of the existing brand were already recognizable to users, the identity lacked a strong visual direction and often felt complex to navigate—especially for those less familiar with DevOps workflows.

The Goal
The brand refresh focused on creating a more distinctive and approachable brand while preserving the technical credibility already associated with the product. The goal was to inject a much-needed human dimension into the identity, turning a rigid tech platform into an engaging and collaborative space.
Branding
The Opportunity
By analyzing Hütte’s legacy identity, we uncovered subtle references to mountains and expeditions hidden within the original logo. This became the foundation for a new storytelling direction: framing the product experience as a guided expedition defined by precision and progress. This narrative allowed us to introduce a compelling human dimension to their identity while maintaining a meaningful connection to what already existed.

The Brand System
Graphic elements evolved directly from the geometric logic of the existing mark, creating a visual language inspired bymountain landscapes, routes,, and navigation systems The typography and color palette were refined to guarantee high accessibility on digital screens, balancing technical authority with a modern, outdoor-inspired aesthetic.
From Narrative to Product
As a consequence of this narrative, an additional educational layer was introduced to make the platform more accessible. While the high-level brand communication remains abstract and suggestive, this product layer uses a more figurative, explanatory approach. A custom system of illustrations and icons was developed to simplify technical concepts, directly supporting user onboarding and product communication.
